My Vacation in Bali

Two years ago was the most memorable holiday in my life. 25th July, 2014 my grandmother and I went on vacation to spend our time. We went to the place that is famous even in other countries named Bali Island which also known as the island of the gods. We went to Bali Island by airplane from Jakarta. I so excited because that is my first time I went to Bali. We really enjoyed our trip.

After second hour we spent our time in the airplane, finally we arrived in Bali Island. I visited some interesting places that I could only see in the television before. We visited Bali Island for 4 days and stayed in a hotel that is cheap for us in Kuta.

            Our first day on Bali Island, we visited a place named Tanah lot. Tanah lot is a beautiful place. We could see a temple for local people pray to the god which is located in the Middle of sea. That day the weather was very bright. We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and took a lot of picture there. We were also impressed by the beauty of waves which crushed the temple cliffs from the distance.

            The second day we were in Bali Island, we visited jogger. Jogger is a place for shopping that offers unique items such as local handicrafts, t-shirts, shoes and many more. All the stuff there was pretty expensive but it was suitable with its quality. We walked around the shop to see what we could buy. Because we were confused to decide what we were going to buy, nobody noticed that we had spent 4 hours there. Finally, I just bought a pair of shoes and a unique Balinese t-shirt while my grandmother buy a lot of stuff as presents for her friends. After went for shopping, we continued our trip to Bukit Peninsula, south Denpasar to see GWK. Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) monument is the largest Southeast Asia which ever built by human. GWK is a statue of Vishnu that depicts the God protector of the people of Balinese. I was so amazed to see the sights there. That was very beautiful place, so that made we wanted to taken many pictures and stay longer there.

            Our third day in Bali Island, we went to a beach known for its beauty and the waves that are great. It was Kuta beach. Kuta beach is a great place for surfing and seeing the sunset. There we found a lot of tourists from various countries coming. I tried to make a conversation with one of them to test my English skills. He was George and his wife Barbara. They were from Perth that was having honeymoon there. They were very fond of having vacation in Bali Island. They said that Bali Island is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Hearing their opinion about Bali Island, I became a very proud and grateful to be able to visit a beautiful place in the world without having to go abroad. Unfortunately, that time the wind was very strong and dangerous. We were not allowed to swim and surf. We ended up just sitting on the seashore and had a conversation with foreign tourists there.

            The next day we went to Sukowati market. It was a traditional Market that sells Balinese items. In contrast to Jogger, Sukowati Market was cheaper. Nevertheless, we must be smart in dealing the price with the seller or we could lose like what I suffered. I bought Balinese batik of for 100 thousand rupiahs while my grandmother just bought only 40 thousand rupiahs in the same place. I was very ashamed while my grandmother could only laugh. Afterwards, we went back to hotel and then prepared for went back to Jakarta.

            It was time for us to go home. I was sad to leave Bali Island. I really enjoyed the beautiful nature there and the hospitality of its people. It seemed time went so fast there. I should continue our way home. I will not forget my valuable experience there and hope I can come back again soon.

My Daily Activities

Every day I usually wake up in the morning. I usually get up at 5:00 and immediately smoothed my bed. after that I turn off the alarm. Next I play some song from my phone while preparing the equipment that will be brought to campus. Next I swipe the floor and washing dishes. Around 6:45 I take a bath, then I brush my teeth and wash my face. After bathing I arrange my hair and shaving my face, then I wear my cloth. I seldom take a breakfast, so after that I go to campus. I go to campus by public transportation, I need times about 15 minutes to my campus In the campus I study some subject, I meet my friends and study together.

After my study at campus is over, I search food for eat then I go back to my rent house. sometimes I hang out with my friends after my study at campus is over. Every Tuesday and Friday I go to English course at 4:30 pm until 6:30. After that I go back to my rent house, I take a bath, have a dinner and then I do my assignment from my lecture.

At 9:30 pm I brush my teeth and wash my face, and then I use my night cream. After that I pray to God before I go to bed. Next at 10:30 pm I go to sleep. Next morning , I woke up at 5:00 and return back on the move, That's my daily activities.

“MASALAH EKONOMI TENTANG KEMISKINAN DI INDONESIA”

I. PENDAHULUAN

1.1 LATAR BELAKANG

Latar belakang pembuatan makalah ini adalah adanya tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia 2. Makalah ini di buat sebagai pelengkap dari tugas pertama yaitu membuat kerangka tulisan. Masalah Ekonomi Indonesia di pilih karena menurut penulis masih banyak masalah yang perlu di soroti dalam hal ini. Masalah kemiskinan, dampaknya serta upaya pemerintah untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan yang dari tahun ke tahun tak kunjung memberikan hasil yang menggembirakan membuat semakin menariknya masalah ini untuk di bahas. selain itu mekalah ini di buat sebagai pembelajaran bagi para pembaca terutama bagi penulis. Maka dengan alasan-alasan tersebutlah makalah ini di buat.

1.2 RUMUSAN MASALAH
Makalah ini akan membahas tentang masalah-masalah :

2. dampak dari kemiskinan
3. upaya pengentasan kemiskinan
Masalah-masalah ini diangkat dengan asumsi bahwa nyatanya di jaman globalisasi seperti sekarang ini, kemiskinan di Indonesia masih saja merajalela dan seperti tak kunjung usai. masalah ini menimbulkan masalah-masalah baru seperti pengangguran, dan kekerasan yang belakangan ini sering terjadi di Indonesia dan akhirnya pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia tidak berjalan lancar.

1.3 TUJUAN
Dapat mengetahui dampak apa yang akan terjadi dari salah satau maslah ekonomi yaitu kemiskinan, dan dapat mengetahui upaya apa yang harus diambil oleh pemerintah untuk pengentasan kemiskinan.

IV. PENUTUP

4.1 Kesimpulan
• Kemiskinan menurut Wikipedia bahasa Indonesia adalah keadaan dimana terjadi ketidakmampuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar seperti makanan , pakaian , tempat berlindung, pendidikan, dan kesehatan. Kemiskinan dapat disebabkan oleh kelangkaan alat pemenuh kebutuhan dasar, ataupun sulitnya akses terhadap pendidikan dan pekerjaan.
• Dampak dari kemiskinan terhadap masyarakat umumnya begitu banyak dan kompleks, diantaranya : pengangguran, kekerasan, masalah pendidikan dan masalah kesehatan.
• Komitmen pemerintah untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan tercantum dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah (RPJM) 2005-2009 yang disusun berdasarkan Strategi Nasional Penanggulangan Kemiskinan (SNPK).
• Ada tiga ciri yang menonjol dari kemiskinan di Indonesia. Pertama, banyak rumah tangga yang berada disekitar garis kemiskinan nasional. Kedua, ukuran kemiskinan didasarkan pada pendapatan, sehingga tidak menggambarkan batas kemiskinan yang sebenarnya. Ketiga, mengingat sangat luas dan beragamnya wilayah Indonesia, perbedaan antar daerah merupakan ciri mendasar dari kemiskinan di Indonesia.
• Tiga cara untuk membantu mengangkat diri dari kemiskinan adalah melalui pertumbuhan ekonomi, layanan masyarakat dan pengeluaran pemerintah.

4.2 Saran
• Masalah kemiskinan hendaknya menjadi prioritas agar tidak menimbulkan masalah-maslah lain.
• Dalam hal pengentasan kemiskinan perlu diperhitungkan kebijakan-kebijakan apa yang cocok dengan profil kemiskinan yang sedang dihadapi.
